Using animals in teaching situations is such a ..non-vegan thing. But AT the same time, It’s rather necessary. To any vegan that has a pet that has ever needed to be operated on, students have had to learn how to do it :(.
it’s in cases like this I wish they would use shelter or pest species. Sad as it is, There is no black and white.

I need feminism
Home from work today.
Spending my time watching feminist related documentaries like War Zone, Killing Us Softly 4, wanting to watch The Purity Myth but I can’t find it. why? because I don’t want to be treated like the lesser of the genders.
Since I was 13, walking to school, almost every day I’d be whistled at by men, in cars, on work sites, and as I walk past ignoring their attention, quite often I would hear “you’re a bitch” or something along those lines as well. The blame is always put on us, no accountability on their side.
At school on multiple occasions I’d have my ass grabbed by guys.
When i broke up with my “boyfriend” after two weeks (when i was 13 mind you!) he tried to spread a rumor around school that I was a whore (I did nothing with him). Not hooking up with guys makes you frigid, doing so makes you a whore.
Once when I was 14 waiting for the school bus, a 40 year old man asked me out on a date, In hind sight I wish I had notified the police but I didn’t realise the weight of that situation.
Being stared at makes you feel uncomfortable.
Being whistled at makes you feel uncomfortable.
Being slandered for not acting how you want us to is just wrong.
Being whistled at makes you very uncomfortable.
I don’t want work agreements to imply females need to wear make up.
I don’t want to be seen as just a pretty face, my arms work well too, I can work hard like the guys.
I want feminism because guys who don’t fit the sterotype of the muscly meat-head need not be put down for being for “feminine”. Being female IS NOT BAD.

Honestly, the large majority of people I have grown up are uber religious “god said we could eat meat” (read: plunder and torture the earth without a second thought) kind of people.
I am dying to make some vegan friends! Anyone want to add me on facebook? We can chat, about life, happiness, rainbows, vegan mac n’ cheeze etc It’ll be grand.
I feel like running away to a commune to get away from all these omnivores who think i’m judging them by stating the processes involved in getting them their steak. Yes, the animal dies and probably suffered in an environment it wasn’t designed for, just for your tastebuds, how is that not factual!!!!?????!?!?!?
I used the above logic to own my dad who tried to argue that god gave us animals to eat, he also said that we’ll be vegan in heaven. Why wait, we can be vegan now!

my mother was fined almost $600 last year for voting after the given date.
I’m lazy, I always apply for a postal vote so I don’t have to go line up, and even worse, be hounded by people walking the the primary school gates trying to make you vote for their party. ugh!!!

I’m so happy this has opened peoples eyes, and has given the Ringling bros so much extra negative attention.
Since this post (and a few others), they’ve deleted comments, sent out personal messages to certain people asking them not to comment again, made the page personal so you have to like it to comment, deleted MANY of their images, lost almost 8k likes, and have gone from about 400 people talking about it, to 1.9k and quickly rising.
Thank you for acknowledging these disgusting “trainers”.
Even complaining online will contribute to the eye-opener they need.My post, and many other’s, have not yet been deleted. Go now and let Ringling Bros know how abhorrent this is.
